Best budget accommodation on Kangaroo Island. Good equipped kitchen, you will get some space in the fridge and a crate for other foods, so it's easy to prepare your own meal. The owners, Susi and Bruno are super helpful and love to give you tips about anything happening and to see on the island.
Lovely accommodation and lovely people. I was originally only staying for one night, but it turned into three weeks! Bruno and Susi are some of the nicest people I've met traveling through Australia. They gave me great advice for my travels and even advice for getting a job on KI for my work holiday visa. Also, they love to show off some of the amazing local KI goods (wine, jams, cheeses, etc) and strive for guests to have an amazing time. While I was staying on the island, they renovated the place from a simple backpacker accommodation to a warm and welcoming retreat. The brand new kitchen is spectacular, really clean, and has all of the supplies you need. The supermarket is really close, as well. The rooms are cozy and well decorated. And the bathrooms are always clean and easy to use. It really is a treat to stay at the KI Dragonfly Guest House.
