Top place to stay
Check in process wasnt overly pleasant no one at reception during the middle of the day and we had to call a phone no. for service. When we did was told they were at the ferry and would be back in about half an hour, in his defence we were there about half hr before check in time but had no idea that the reception would be unmanned. So unfortunately had to wait. When he returned he checked us in and walked us to the unit we were staying in. Once inside there was quite a musty smell and the gentleman from reception without asking us decided to give us quite a lengthy run down of attractions places to see things to do which took probably about another 20 mins or so , so despite being a very nice gesture i have to say my partner and i were quite glad when he finished as we just wanted to unpack and settle in. The musty smell didnt take long to go away after opening some windows and the unit itself wasnt too bad for a budget accomodation it had a spacious feel. Shower worked well kitchen adequately equipped and was located edge of town but being such a small town was still close to everything.
DO NOT STAY HERE! I need to edit this review - my party left some dirty dishes & they decided to charge a $50 cleaning fee, out-of-the-way, with no prior disclosure whatsoever. I complained and was told to seek legal advice if I wasn't satisfied with this. DO NOT STAY HERE - management service is absolutely appalling. Initial review left below for transparency:(Previously 3 stars) Cheap, well equipped rooms, but location isn't coastal as implied by advertising photo.
